Extended Health Benefits

Direct Billing

What does direct billing mean?

The full cost of your massage therapy appointment will be electronically submitted to your insurance company. Your insurance company will respond with the amount covered. The covered amount of your treatment is paid directly to the clinic. The remainder of the appointment cost, if any, is paid by you.

Which extended health companies do you direct bill?

  • Pacific Blue Cross

  • Sunlife

  • Great-west LIfe

  • Green Shield

  • Manulife

  • Medavie Blue Cross - Including RCMP/Veterans Affairs

  • Chamber of Commerce Group Insurance

  • Industrial Alliance

  • Desjardins Insurance

  • Cowan

  • Johnson Inc

  • Johnston Group/Maximum Benefit

What if my company is not listed?

We are happy to ask your extended health company if they offer electronic direct billing. We want to stay current and your company may now offer direct billing. Just ask!

If they do not accept direct billing, you are responsible to pay for your treatment at the time of your appointment and submit your receipt for reimbursement.  Your massage is always provided by a BC RMT (Registered Massage Therapist).

Do I need a Dr's refferal?

It depends on your plan. You are responsible for knowing the ins and outs of your coverage. Just contact your insurance provider. The clinic does not have access to your specific insurance plan information.
